Another new week to look forward to! I wanted to leave you guys with a little insight on faith today.
A lot of people think that they need to be at a certain place in life, or that they need to hit a particular milestone by a specific age, based on how others are living their lives. With the influence of social media and added pressure from society, it can definitely be hard to figure out what the next best step is for you personally. Each and every single person has a unique journey that they’re meant to embark on, so it really cannot be compared to anyone else. With that being said, sometimes the best things in life aren’t the ones that you plan.
Whether you believe in God, another spiritual figure or the universe, I truly believe that there’s a greater plan far better than any of us could think up for ourselves. Sometimes you just need to trust that higher being and have faith that things will work out just as they should. I’ve personally found that when I give up stressing over the outcome of a situation and allow myself to fully put my trust in god and the universe, the blessings start flowing in. So for those of you who are not getting what you think you want right now, just remember that there is a greater plan for you and that it’s going to take a lot of patience and a greater amount of faith.
Hiii guys! It is a new week, filled with endless opportunities! A quote that I wanted to share with you all is from one of my absolute favorite books (and highly recommended!) Free Your Energy, by Sylvester McNutt;
“Life is a journey for us all. We all have ups and downs. All of us are human. But we are also the masters of our fate. We are the ones who decide how we are going to react to life.”
Not only does this pertain to our current situation worldwide, but every single person has or will experience their fair share of hardships, it is just an inevitable part of life. Only you and you alone can control your attitude, emotions and reactions. At the end of the day, you’re also the ones living with each of those. My advice to you would be to always look for the diamond lining to the situation, because I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. The next time you’re faced with a challenge, I encourage you to step away from the issue and really dive deep in thinking about what positives could come from the situation. Upon doing so, you would be surprised at how quickly your mindset changes about the difficulty of overcoming this challenge.
Happy Monday! As we begin a new week, I wanted to leave this quote here for anyone that needs it. “A beautiful day begins with a beautiful mindset”. Every single day, we wake up with the opportunity to start anew. It doesn’t matter what happened the day before or how you felt because this new day presents a clean slate for you to begin from. You and you alone can choose how you wish to spend your 24 hours and the mindset to go along with it, so what will you choose?
To kick start my Friday favorites, I figured I would share one of my absolute favorite products at the moment and an essential to anyone’s skin care routine. I’ve always been fascinated by Japanese beauty. For one, one of my grandmothers was Japanese and always had the most beautiful and flawless skin. I have often noticed that the Japanese culture always seems to have this effortless natural beauty to their looks. The Japanese have a nourishing philosophy in their skin care regime, emphasizing sun protection, thorough but gentle cleansing, and a variety of hydrating and moisturizing layers. Natural Aqua Gel Cure is one of Japan’s most coveted exfoliators and it is said that they sell a bottle every 12 seconds! I’ve been using this for about 3 months now and have noticed a drastic change in the appearance of my pores, radiance in my tone, clear of any blemishes and have found that my makeup looks so much smoother. The major results that are advertised however, help to aid in anti-aging, brightening effects and smoothening the skin.
Happy Wednesday guys! As we are all still in self isolation, I have found that it is important to give myself a day or two a week, to put on the glam, quarantine style. As someone who truly loves to get ready, this process always helps me to get into a good mindset and just genuinely makes me feel good. Currently, loungewear is having its moment and I can’t say that I’m hating it.
